Kate grew up doing martial arts, ice skating and cycling and also danced during her time at performing arts school as a teenager. She moved on to the gym and running so it was no surprise when she gave up her career in recruitment to become a personal trainer, setting up KBPT in 2010.
Lauren grew up in the US and and played Division One lacrosse until an injury meant she had to change paths. She came to London for drama school and had a successful acting career before becoming a personal trainer and joining KBPT.
Growing up, KBPT trainer Helen enjoyed ballet, cross country, hockey and swimming. She then took up kick boxing and running and, having worked in events and as a part-time Jazzercise instructor, she followed her heart and became a personal trainer.
Enthusiasm for fitness began at a young age for Sammie; she attended gym and swimming classes while at school and competed nationally with her gymnastics.
Melissa’s love for health and fitness stemmed from her experiences dancing as a child and later transferred into a passion for boxing, running and weight training. After moving to London 5 years ago, Melissa achieved her personal training qualification and loves sharing her passion with others.
After studying tourism, Jesica initially came to London for a few months but ended up falling in love with our amazing city and staying. After 2.5 years working at a private members club teaching a variety of fitness classes, she decided to train part time as a personal trainer.
As a child, Ilka always loved sports and adored aerobic classes. Her previous job as a fashion stylist in Hungry demanded a lot of heavy lifting, distorting her posture. Turning to Pilates and fitness to manage and improve her discomfort led her to embrace a career path in fitness and becoming an exercise instructor.
Hannah has been active throughout her life; being super sporty, she spent most of her younger years playing football and cross country running. Before her career change, she also taught outdoor bootcamps alongside her job, enabling her to get her fitness fix!
Terri began her fitness journey in 2015, entering a charity boxing fight. Terri found she really enjoyed the training required for it and continued to box and moved over into strength training. At this point, Terri really kickstarted her true love for fitness.
