If you live in E10 or E11, you’ll be pleased to know that KBPT now offers mobile personal training in your home or in your local park. As the leading all-female PT team in East London, we thought it was about time we spread our wings to some new postcodes!
To celebrate our expansion, we’ve put together a list of some of our favourite places in the area. If you live (or work) in Leyton or Leytonstone and you’d like to book a session with one of our amazing personal trainers, email [email protected]. We can train you in your home or garden or in one of the many parks nearby, including the Olympic Park, Leyton Jubilee Park and Wanstead Flats. In the meantime, why not check out our local recommendations…
Looking for the perfect bookshop? It’s time to visit Phlox. Based on Francis Road, its mantra is ‘Proudly serving books, booze and coffee since 2017’. The owner carefully selects the books on sale and is always happy to have a chat. Phlox also runs some great events with authors such as Anna Whitehouse (Mother Pukka) and Tice Cin.

Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park
OK, we know it’s officially in Stratford (E15), but it’s only a short walk or bus ride from Leytonstone. Built for the 2012 Olympics, anyone can now go cycling at the VeloPark, swimming at the Aquatics Centre or walk/run/pedal around the park. If you’d rather be a spectator, check out what’s on at the Copper Box Arena or cheer on West Ham at the London Stadium.

This pop-up turned permanent restaurant is named after a hidden river in Leytonstone, (the Fille/Philley/Filly Brook). Its current food residency is Sho Foo Doh of Fumio Tanga whose food is based on the izakaya bars of Japan. Yum. You can also enjoy beer from local breweries and live music events.
