Foodie Friday: Porridge

Foodie Friday: Nothing beats a warming bowl of porridge on a chilly winter morning. I made this with 50g oats, 125ml water, 125ml milk, 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (simmered in a pan for 5-7min) with honey, raspberries and flaked almonds sprinkled on top. Porridge is a great way to start the day as the energy from the oats is released slowly into the body, keeping you feeling full and nourished till lunchtime.
