Foodie Friday: Mulled Wine.

Ingredients:

750ml red wine

Lemon zest

1 orange

2 cinnamon sticks

4 cloves

2 star anise

4 tbsp of brown sugar

Method:

Step 1. In a large pan place red wine, cinnamon , star anise, cloves, lemon zest, sliced orange and sugar over low heat for 10 minutes.

Step 2. Then remove from heat and let it infuse for 30 mins.

Step 3. Before serving heat without letting it boil, then pour into mugs.
