Foodie Friday - Cranberry and raisin oat breakfast bars.

  This is a great snack or breakfast on the go. Ingredients: 500g raisins 270g porridge oats 4 tbsp coconut oil melted 4 tbsp of rice syrup 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1 tsp nutmeg 10g dried cranberries Method: Step 1. Preheat oven 190 Fan forced. Line 35cm x 25cm baking tray with baking paper.  Step 2. Put 3/4 of raisins in a food processor, along with all other ingredients except the cranberries. Blend until a smooth mixture. ( dough consistency)  Step 3. Add the rest of the raisins and cranberries , give a quick blend. Step 4. Pour mixture in baking tray and bake in the oven for 25-30 mins. Step 5. Remove from oven and leave to cool until room temperature before cutting into bars.
