Foodie Friday: Cinnamon porridge with bananas and roast almonds. Such a delicious and filling breakfast that releases energy slowly, contains protein from the oats, healthy fat from the almonds and carb from the bananas. I added 1 teaspoon cinnamon while I cooked 50g oats on the hob with 250ml liquid (you can mix water/milk/non-dairy alternatives depending how creamy you like your porridge.) I chopped a handful of almonds and dry-roasted them in a pan over a medium heat for a couple of minutes. Served with honey and chopped banana. Enjoy!
