Foodie Friday: Chunky Spaghetti Bolognese

Ingredients:

 

500g beef mince 

1 courgette, chopped

1 pepper, chopped 

1/2 onion, chopped 

1 garlic clove, minced 

1 can of chopped tomatoes 

1 jar of pasta sauce 

Cook pasta as per packet ( wholegrain)

 

Method:

 

Step 1. Over a medium heat in oil add garlic and onion and cook for 10 minutes. 

Step 2. Add the courgette and pepper, cook for another 5 minutes. 

Step 3. Add in the beef mince.

Step 4. Next, pour in chopped tomatoes and pasta sauce and cook for another few minutes. 

Step 5. Bring to a boil then simmer for 20 minutes. 

Step 6. Cook pasta per packet instructions and serve together.
