Foodie Friday: Antioxidants

Antioxidants are substances that may protect your cells against free radicals, which may play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases.  Foods high in antioxidants are broccoli, spinach, carrots, artichokes, cabbage, squash, pumpkin, beans, berries, prunes, plums and dark leafy greens.  Make sure you include antioxidants in your diet.
