Workout Wednesday Level Two – HIIT:
Exercise One (Left) – Star jump to squat
*keep your knees soft when jumping – no locking through the joints
*keep your chest up
*bend keep your feet facing forward – it helps to do this exercise in a mirror
Exercise Two (Top right) – Tricep burpee
*Ensure you place your hands on the floor close to your chest with fingers pointing forward
*jump both feet back together at the same time
*lower your body down in one straight line
Exercise Three (Bottom right) – Crunch and hold
*keep your feet a foot off the floor but lower to the floor if too hard
*ensure you are engaging your abs not your neck muscles
keep your palms facing up
Timings – 45 seconds on and 15 seconds rest – 3 times round of each exercise.
Progression – Work up to 1 min work and minimal rest. Then you could add light hand weights
