So if you are anything like me you will love feeling like you have got a bargain. So as we are coming up to Christmas our diaries are most probably getting busier with meeting up with various friends over the festive period.

A tip for not piling on the pounds over the Christmas period with all the extra socialising is to take charge of where you are going. If you arrange the venue then you can ensure there is something healthy on the menu, the majority of restaurants have their menus on-line these days so have a look and decide what you are going to eat in advance so that you don’t go for unhealthy options.
Know how much you are going to drink before you go out and stick to it! We can all get carried away at Christmas but if you are going out numerous nights of the week you want to ensure you don’t over drink on every night out – you need to fit into you Christmas party outfit and don’t want to look terrible in the photos!
If you are going out more try to up your exercise to make up for it. Or if you are missing work out sessions to socialise try and slot them in at the start of the day or in your lunch hour, a half an hour walk/run is better than nothing at all.
So enjoy December but don’t think sod it I will wait till Jan and lose the weight, it is a lot harder to shift it than put it on!!
